Mighty Mouse is now airing on MeTV Toons.
Cannot state how much of a big deal this is. The Terrytoons were more locked away than even the Fox Kids stuff that Disney still owns.

Mighty Mouse and his Terrytoon friends are now on MeTV Toons! Every Sunday from 3p - 5p.
The Terrytoons shorts don't look superb (they're sourced from the 50s-60s CBS Saturday morning show iirc) but the Ralph Bakshi 80s series segments look great:

Just spent a lot of my Sunday watching MeTV Toons debut their long-awaited Terrytoons package and a selection of Dr. Seuss specials of varying quality.

Also I’m so unfamiliar with the Terry Bears that I believed that they were an evolution of the Three Bears of that short and were included solely due to the meme

I’m surprised the old Terrytoons look as good as they do considering how long it’s been since they’ve aired anywhere and how there have been no DVD releases.
Hell, there seems to be better quality control than Harveytoons, or even TMNT (which used the Cartoon Express prints IIRC)

An overwhelming day for me that Dr. Seuss TV specials and Terrytoons, both things I know by heart are airing back to back on MeTV Toons. I don't know if I want to put on some dumb smile or that it's the stars that've perfectly aligned in my favor but I'm certainly being given the full-course dinner.

also i've mentioned this before but paramount did scan and remaster the 80s mighty mouse show in 2009/10. but then they proceeded to only release it on dvd. not blu-ray. not even hd digital. and this is the only archival terrytoons activity that actually happened in actual decades

The Terrytoons news comes on top of Thunderbean content coming to the channel as well, so I can imagine many Ub Iwerks, Van Beuren and early-Famous Studios cartoons are not too far behind now.

On Acecraft something i never got with the Cuphead Show was that the staff thought audiences would find old cartoons be boring but if your kid likes Cuphead why not show them a old Fleischer and Iwerks short instead of SpongeHead (Not suggesting Van Beuren and Terrytoons)

Deitch gave a group of Japanese animators a tour around the Terrytoons studio in 1957. But their intent was not merely to learn from the studio but copy them, leaning over desks and taking pictures of all the materials. The result was Ribbon-chan, who continues to represent Ribbon Juice to this day.

Dinky Duck is a Terrytoons character who first appeared in the 1939 animated short The Orphan Duck.
Unlike fellow Terrytoons characters Mighty Mouse, Gandy Goose and the magpies Heckle and Jeckle, Dinky never became popular, appearing in a total of only 15 cartoons between 1939 and 1958.
