Again, I never said it didn't exist on both sides.
However, over the past 15 years since Obama, Republicans have made a concerted effort to gerrymander multiple states, especially States that were going purple. Texas is in the process of flipping to Democrat and they are trying to stop it.

A perfect example of a hand in full contact with the hot stove = largely successful project of purging non-MAGA Republicans from the party. No district-redrawing (at least in Southern New England) can get MAGA Republicans elected here. New England is different than Texas.

That isn't how it works.
The president doesn't tell States how to manage their own state elections. The states shouldn't be falling over themselves to comply with a despot.
