There's also the small matter of being governed by people who don't have to be regularly reminded that you exist, and can point to where you live on a map. #Ireland #Think32
These estimates ignore long term savings from reducing NI's dependency on a bloated public sector, the impact of it's dire productivity converging with the rest of #Ireland, the economic drag of partition which dampens trade/tourism, and they assume no increase in FDI in the region post-partition.
This honestly sounds like a bargain when you consider that a Gerald Ford Aircraft carrier costs around 13 billion dollars
