Oops i seem to have built a crib

Seriously, this thing takes up so much space. It's a good thing my friend @lunarkoneko.bsky.social doesn't mind keeping it in her room, since she's a huge baby anyway

From @desmos.com graph to Tinkercad to a phyical 3D printed object. My first 3D print of a Desmos project. I added a loop in Tinkercad so that I could add a string and hang it. #ITeachMath @edtechcocek.bsky.social

A chess piece planned in @desmos.com, designed in Tinkercad, and printed on a 3D printer. I’m hoping to have my Calculus 12 students design their own chess pieces this year as we explore volumes of rotation. @edtechcocek.bsky.social #ITeachMath

There's also TinkerCAD in the cloud for free which uses a slightly different methodology that's perhaps more intuitive. And a lot of people use Fusion 360 to design.

My workboard on Tinkercad.
Just doing a couple of boards to go with the MPP technical, just sold.
I reckon the fella will at least need a copal 0 + copal 1.
Even though he doesn't know he needs them, he will thank me in the future when he buys more lenses ;-)

Ok, so tinkercad.com just released a tool that allows you to sculpt by freely drawing a profile, and it will "spin" into a 3D round object!

It's over for y'all, I HAVE FULL POWER NOW!!

Almost every 3d modeling program in existence has had this feature for over a decade.

How is tinkercad just now figuring out the Lathe Tool?

It's teacher Tuesday!!

I've shared the ARPS-2 circuit and a complete set of beginner electronics and programming activities in Tinkercad! Find them here: mirobo.tech/electronics

#tinkercad down now.....
I wonder if it is time I switched to a grown up 3d modeling software program :-P

Going live right now! Doing some new toy design work in tinkercad (and possibly in Blender, if time allows.)

Come hang out and be nerdy!

Here's a chonky little Star Trek kitbash. Cherokee class tug, c. 2270s Starfleet logistics division. Constitution surplus parts put to good use. Oversized reactors, extra warp nacelle, extra strong shields and tractor beams, but no weapons and science to speak of. Currently printing.

Did a lot of googling and found a system (a small bit of plagiarism) that would let me use the drill with a bearing in the wheelbase. Fired up Tinkercad to design the thing.

A 14cm wheel with a 1400 RPM makes 45.9mph. Under load this will be considerably less but I don’t think Bine is THAT fast.

YES. God yes. It's invaluable for exactly this sort of shit. It 100% changes the way you look at every little physical inconvenience. "..I could fix this." then you fuckin DO, with some hyper specific, custom tailored doodad.
TinkerCAD is my homie now. 🧡

The buggo needs wing repairs and it's time to dust off some very old projects...

Hopefully It prints well enough to transform. The transformation is heavily based off of BadLamprey's custom figures on YT and Deviantart, you should check him out. Hes inactive but he's made incredible figures.

Love TinkerCad… designed a little mount that slips over the side of my bed to hold my Switch 📎

Will line the big slot with felt. The little slots are for glasses cleaning wipes… useful for my switch & my glasses.

Theres also a gap for plugging in a change cable :)

Should be real in 7ish hours :)

I’ve had a 3D printer since January. Printed lots of fun stuff, but all from other people’s designs. I have virtually no CAD experience.

Just started playing with TinkerCad and basic shapes. Created this from scratch. A new rabbit hole…

While I don’t have anything new for Iron Jungle, I have been working with my 8th graders in tinkercad. They had to design a minifig and create a lore for their character. They have been doing such a great job and some students who have otherwise been pretty disengaged have been very into it. (Cont)

I haven't been drawing that much lately, but I have been toying around with 3D printing.
I designed a Celtic Cross in Tinkercad and then applied it to some Dummy 13 parts.
