Now the circus stripes and parrots arrive, along with the classic reds. Every time I think I have picked a favorite, another one pops up.

First blooms! And it’s a whole sea of sunshine tulips, that sunshine yellow was Mom’s favorite.

The 16th (yesterday) is a remembrance day for our Mom each year & these tulips popping open in the morning was such a sweet, fun ray of sunshine.

Week 6

Indoor and outdoor tulips converging this week with the first blooms just nipping barely up from the greens outside. Bring on that 🌞 🌷 💕

The parrot tulips were a fast new addition. I *think* that might be a purple anemone that I planted two seasons ago 😅. The daffodils are coming in, some hyacinths have missed the cull, snowdrops are getting after it and I've got some new, purple fritillaria getting ready to bloom 😍. #tulipwatch2025

Week 5

City Satellite Office bloomed this delicate lovely pink & white bloom this week and the outdoor bed is coming up strong. Poodle Tip-Toes for scale as Ted was camera shy this week. 🐩 🌷

Keep the sunshine 🌞 and rain ☔️ pouring in, the spring beauty is just beginning 🌈 🐝 🌷 💕

Week 4

A bit of ice overnight, but don’t fret that won’t hurt our mountain blooms. Looks like it will be a bumper crop outdoors, so many green shoots popping up. The extra rain this week should really help - I may not like this damp cold weather but the tulips will.

I might even love the tulips more as they start to come apart. Several indoor vases almost ready. Green tips are making great progress outside. A lucky Sunday circumstance when you discover your multi color circus painted sparkle nails coincidentally match your crocs. 💛 ❤️ 🩵 ✨

The Time Has Come : #tulipwatch2025 begins! 🌞 🌷

For those new, I started Tulip Watch with my Mom years ago as I was first trying to get my tulip beds to take.

She had an existing tulip bed at her house originally started from bulbs that I’d gifted after a trip to Amsterdam.

Probably starting this a bit early, but, well, *all this* could use a tiny distraction. #tulipwatch2025
