At least 7,000 people, frogs, dinosaurs and unicorns showed up to say NO KINGS today in Medford, Oregon!

I saw unicorns, eagles, tigers, today. People with cat ears, unicorn and zebra hats…
It occurs to me that fascism is somewhat surreal and pathetically serious, and the Frog thing (and progeny) are so wonderfully absurd and playful. Warm and human.

I saw a shit-ton of unicorns, dozens of frogs and horny-toads, a dozen T-rexes, scads of flamingos, a couple of baby sharks, pikachu's, and South Park kids.

All sorts of shenanigans going on at our "violent" No Kings rallies. I was given free stickers, there were people handing out homemade cookies, and some inflatable unicorns dancing. Truly horrifying. I almost ended up eating carbs!

I failed to get a video of the unicorns and axolotls running to greet one another at San Antonio #NoKings, but it was as glorious as you’d imagine.
I have learned that is an axolotl (ak suh la tul) costume and that it is an actually existing endangered aquatic salamander that lives only in the canals of Mexico City. Saw several today&thought I would share in case you too thought this was some kind of anime reference you weren’t getting.

The big town near me (about 5K) pulled a few hundred people out for protests today, which was cute enough, but apparently a lot of the parents told their kids that halloween had started early, so it was all *teeny* inflatable unicorns and frogs and horses !!!!!

Wry, non-malicious subtweet, while I was too ill this morning to attend, I'm told my neighborhood of "Iowa Diner Patrons" showed up, today and the inflatables tally was a frog, a cow, two sharks, six unicorns, a chicken, and probably a diglett.

No Kings 10/18 was an incredible Pro-Democracy movement, NYC had 100-250k peaceful protesters- inflatable Frogs, unicorns, dinosaurs and American Flags and signs galore, all ages. No arrests, none of us were paid, it was a uniting experience that made me feel like i wasn’t screaming into the void.

People came with wheelchairs, walkers, canes, scooters, and skateboards and of course most of them walked. There were dogs, nuns, unicorns, frogs, polar bears, chickens with tacos and lots of people in jeans and tshirts. It is nice to know you aren’t alone.
