American troops in Vladivostok 1918
British cemetary in Murmansk (today, from allied intervention and arctic convoys)
French troops near Odesa, 1919

Nothing is ever static, forever.

Russia is also appearing to follow that precedent ...

The all of it is ridiculous. We are no more in 1949. 🇨🇵🇬🇧 are nuclear powers. No need to bomb Sibéria and Vladivostok. Moscow and Saint Petersbourg are enough.
Many Russians in Paris and London.
Poutine's daughter lives in Paris. So...

Yup. Used Japanese vehicles are extremely popular in Russia, especially in Vladivostok, which is near Hokkaido, the big northern island of Japan.

Russian Z-bloggers are claiming that China has now effectively taken over a large part of Russia`s far east. China is now allegedly earning taxes from areas from Chita all the way to Vladivostok, with a large Chinese population now residing there.

Russia needs to be broken up into at least 5 other countries. In its current form it’s a threat to peace and stability around the world.

One country can have St Petersburg, another Moscow, another Volgograd, another Yekaterinburg and the last Yakutsk because China will probably take Vladivostok.

Quan el vell ordre trontolla, cau el vel de l’Estat classista i es desacomplexa. Si no plantem cara, la violència “legal” ens arrossegarà a tots. Barcelona, León o Vladivostok: no val a badar. Ànims! Que no se’ns nota, però hi som!

It all existed before but in a form of illegal casinos and “one-handed bandit” halls mostly closed around 2012 when the “gambling economy zones” were formed for Altai, Krasnodarskiy Kray and Far East (just picture Gorno-Altaisk, Sochi and Vladivostok as poor man’s Las Vegases)

I could understand their taking back the Outer Manchuria territories they were forced to cede in the Treaty of Tientsin & the Convention of Peking. Having Vladivostok would be a major boost to their strategic ambitions in the Arctic.

China is already moving north with e.g. various industries. Has already even redrawn topographic charts like making Vladivostok Chinese again which angered Russia. 😏

I’ve been waiting for them to seize back Vladivostok. The Russians have only held that territory since 1860. I really don’t know why the Chinese haven’t moved on it already. It’s a pretty valuable port.

After the fall of the USSR US/Nato emerged as the dominant force.

It had the chance to establish a singe indivisible security architecture from Vancouver to Vladivostok but it chose to spread its domination eastwards

NATO members were happy with dominance until the US turned its dominance on them

Britain’s Labour government has continued its tacit support for the US invasion of Venezuela and abduction of its President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, even as it comes into conflict with the White House over Greenland.
UK Labour government supports US abduction of Maduro, while pledging to defend Greenland
As supportive as Starmer has been of Trump’s crimes, the UK has been excluded from the spoils and is increasingly in the firing line of a White House which views Europe as an enemy.
