No - not trade jobs. It’s a huge problem that we got rid of so many trade schools & offering votech in public schools.
I was talking about unskilled labor, mass deportations & specific industries that left manufacturing in the U.S. bc it was no longer economically viable

Lots of family members are/were firefighters, civilian, military and volunteer, including a district manager of a wildland fire dispatch station, a couple of chiefs, a votech firefighter course instructor and one assistant state fire marshal. Their consensus is that it was not accidentally started.

If a prosecutor can NOT secure an indictment on the same case from 3 separate Grand Juries... That prosecutor should probably rethink one's career choice! Go back to school... A VoTech & get a 2 yr degree in plumbing... What happened to: "You can indict a ham sandwich!" 🤔🤣

9/ Meanwhile, she gaslights the public about VoTech, claiming it could be used as a school but conveniently omitting that it was purchased without any plan. Leadership by spin and omission isn’t leadership—it’s mismanagement.

The super cool thing that happened was a teacher from the votech school started a FB page. And it just blew up with people posting info on where the cast and director were in the area at this moment in time. Ben was working out at a health center in a local hospital for his upcoming role in Batman

I had a votech teacher in high school that had seen someone bang a wrench on a transformer and blow his finger tips off from the current

A/C power systems are no joke

$60m to start if you have a useful skill. Like mech, elect, plc, robotics (maintenance workers)

I would bet they pay tuition for unskilled to become skilled. Most large companies in the us do.

$60m to start, with (maybe) a 2 yr degree is not too shabby

Go to a good hs votech and maybe not 2yr

My kids in rural Kansas had all these +state of the art shop. They learned to frame a house! None of that in the college town we moved to. My MS/HS in a poor city had auto shop, drafting, sewing, cooking, all the music, and votech of many kinds. Plus free summer school so I could get ahead.

Votech has been cut to the bone in my county in NJ. My son went to a different county to get training in residential electrical. The local community college does not offer opportunities other than automotive. For profit trade schools are not the answer.

"you don't need to go to college" yeah is Barron skipping college? "Rich white kids go to elite universities hollowed out to unchallenging finishing schools and drunken networking playgrounds while everyone else gets minimal votech paid for with indenture" is their absolute dream.
The DOJ official who leads investigations of civil rights violations promising to use her powers to defund American higher ed at the behest of a bigot. One example of how MAGA is weaponizing Kirk's murder as an excuse to go after their perceived enemies.

I was shocked I got hired at my job. I never had a typing class. Wasn't allowed because I went to votech. So I'm 51 years old, type one handed and can't touch type. I still get 34wpm.
