OTD 2023 saw another cracking instalment in the Moneys v Portchy rivalry.
Moneys winning 4v2 in typically full blooded game & went on to win league.
Portchy were 'away' side despite being played at Wicor as Moneys were still awaiting finish of their John Jenkins Stadium.

@wicor.bsky.social has extremely exciting main research questions: 1) how do habitable worlds form? and 2) how does life emerge on habitable planets?- check out the Research page to learn how WiCOR is tackling these 2 main questions:

AOS Prof. Hannah Zanowski studies polar oceanography, and she's now bringing that expertise to WiCOR, where she focuses on planetary oceanography by modeling early Earth and exoplanet conditions to understand what ultimately makes a planet habitable after it forms.

Change of scene for #WeBS count, this time covering Wicor and Portchester - so many waders! 🤯 Neither patch or the sectors I usually count has big wader flocks, so always nice to see more. Also 11+ Red-breasted Mergansers #HantsBirds #LowCarbonBirding

“In both Portchester Wicor and Fareham Town, residents overwhelmingly rejected the Conservatives, with many people lending their votes to the Lib Dems to get the Tories out. Now, thanks to political manoeuvring, the Conservatives have slipped straight back in.”
