Is there a version of Windows out there that still has that old Windows 95/98 UI? I was waiting at an MRT metro station here, and I noticed one of the computers behind the passenger service area running something with that interface.

The taskbar functionally looks like the one from Windows7/10 tho, but in Windows 95/98 style. I also spotted what looks like Vista/7-era icons on there.
The computer looks like it’s part of the railway signalling system; perhaps a stripped-down version of Windows for critical applications?

I personally dualboot Mint and Windows7
W7 is pretty outdated but it has all my tools working correctly on it
And Mint is pretty great and I can customize how I want it, but the software isn't completely there yet
So I boot either depending on what I'm gonna do with my pc that day

コンフィグをいじらないとまともに画面表示が
されなかったり、動作が遅くなる。
コンフィグの切り替え方も普通の人には
分からない。
あえて言えば取説の存在も分からない。
そういう世界だった、かつては。
DOA5が重くてガタガタだ。
Windows７の頃は軽かったが、
なぜか処理が重たい。
もっと言えばMODの配布ももう殆ど無い。
スト4も画面フルスクリーン化に戸惑うが
こっちは動作が軽快だ。🌸

やはりやりにくい。
