In #Ubuntu 25.10 Questing Quokka, support for #GNOME on #Xorg was dropped. If you like to stay with an #X11 desktop, you may, e.g., have a look at the choices at github.com/X11Libre/xse... , stick to 24.04 LTS or switch to a non-GNOME flavor ubuntu.com/desktop/flav... . #XLibre

Os desenvolvedores do Debian declaram que o XLibre (o fork de código aberto do Xorg) é administrado por "nazistas" que "teriam enviado [alguém] para um acampamento, se tivessem a oportunidade".
Não estou disposto a deixar o Debian se tornar um bar nazista.
Essa postura é reforçada por vários desenvolvedores do Debian, a partir de endereços de e-mail oficiais "Debian.org".
Espero que nenhum [Debian Developer] faça upload/patrocine qualquer trabalho desse cara.
Apenas um desenvolvedor Debian fez qualquer declaração do outro ponto de vista, dizendo:

Ps. The attached screenshot shows #XLibre on #FreeBSD. It was taken on Jun 30 and is part of our README. b-aaz is a member of our core team and continously maintains the XLibre third-party packages for FreeBSD. His commitment made e.g. XLibre on #GhostBSD possible. Again: kudos!

Ps. The attached screenshot shows XLibre with the github.com/gershwin-des..., an OS X-like Desktop Environment available exclusively in GhostBSD as a flavor. Still in its early days, essentially for developers busy bringing GNUstep from the NeXTstep/OPENstep era to Rhapsody.

After testing all the @xlibredev.bsky.social options available i have settled on the @artixlinux.bsky.social xfce s6 init pre made xlibre iso
I like my applications to work and not only does wayland not work with some of them but it also removes options in OBS and replaces them with broken options

#XLibre runs on #ArchLinux btw. Some of you guessed it; others have known for a while. We've created third-party PKGBUILDs, teamed up with another AUR maintainer, and now provide x86_64 binaries. We never talked about it; now we will.
