Did you really watch the #NintendoDirect?
It runs great, just as intended.
The game is meant to evoke the feeling of reading an old book.

considering that #DKBananza was released just 2 months ago and yet, #Yoshiandthemysteriousbook was a nice surprise.. and the remaster for the 2 #SuperMarioGalaxy is a nice threat.
