It also helped that some figures kept getting new versions, AND Larry was given leeway in his focus. It didn't have to only be new characters year after year.

So Hawk, Snake Eyes, Stalker, Tunnel Rat, Scarlett, Storm Shadow, Jinx, the Dreadnoks and esp. Buzzer, Road Pig, Zartan and Zarana, Destro..

I'm pushing 50 and undiagnosed, but clearly something is up. Probably one of the reasons I've always been obsessed with Zartan and thought about how fascinating it must be to look and sound like anybody!

The 1993 Ninja Force Snake Eyes gets the drop on the 1993 Zartan figure. While people claim to hate Ninja Force, the figures are really nice. This is the best Snake Eyes head that has ever been made in 3 3/4" scale.

The second segment down on the back legs of Swiftwind are rotated backwards in the package and promo pics.

I know this because anatomy works a certain way and I have seen an animal before.

Here is my evidence of proper horsing around. I’m not mad you didn’t notice, but I am disappointed.
Swiftly proudly strides with proper legs. Swiftwind is probably called something else while in horse mode like Cringer to Battle Cat. I don’t remember at the moment and please don’t tell me. I’ll get this. Swiftwind does a pointer pose like a hunting dog. We are hunting for Moduloks or some shit. The hind legs are doing that Z shape you want in a horse. Swiftywindy bucks off Jack Griffin and Susan Storm. I pulled my hand way so fast and took this photo before he fell. There are Dreadnok drums back there that I have to send back because they are missing a piece. Annoying. SPIRIT kicks Zartan in the dick! That’s right motherfuckers, I remembered the name!! You can stop typing RIGHT NOW. Anyway, fix your damn horse legs for me. Spread the word. If I see any that are wrong in a week I am going to be pissed off. You do not want me as an enemy. I would be very boring and stop caring. It’s lame. Bye.

Energon GI Joe needs to create a more formidable evil-ninja big-bad.

Not just Storm Shadow (for a couple issues), Zartan, Firefly (sometimes), and eventually Slice & Dice.

They need someone beyond red ninjas to go toe-to-toe with.

I love that the first episode after the miniseries, Countdown To Zartan, has a more diverse cast than basically anything else on TV at the time. And the show made diversity look effortless.
