Hate to be the barer of bad news but unless you still have the original computer with the Zune proprietary software on it, its really difficult to get new music onto a Zune. Microsoft made it so you cant drag and drop and also killed the software like 2 years after they discontinued the Zune

And yes I will continue to be a Grumpy Old Man that EXACTLY this perfect service used to exist - Zune (then renamed to Xbox Music). It had all the Spotify smart streaming options, but then you could click on a track and buy it for actual money as an actual MP3 and actually own it. Argh.

My car only plays MP3, WAV, and WMA, from a HFS+ or EXT3 formatted drive. It doesn't take FAT of any flavor or NTFS. It seems like there was ONE exception. Zune MP3 players and Vista Certified devices. Then it works fine with NTFS and FAT32 partitions.

Oh man that era was fun I tried so many weird mp3 players. I had a brown zune. Got the iriver stuff. Had a weird HP one. Lg chocolate. Made mp3 players with altoid tins custom for friends. Getting $0.01 songs from allofmp3.com that Russian site that was better than iTunes lol
