Judge Young has a hearing today on remedies in AAUP v. Rubio. It can't fully address Khalil's situation due to BS fraud charge but every bit of friction helps.
The import of this ruling: Foreign citizens in the United States—including green card holders—can be arrested for political speech and imprisoned for months or even years before being given a meaningful opportunity to challenge the constitutionality of their arrest and imprisonment.

Our statement on TAMU's policy applies to Dr. Bright's case.

"The AAUP says this censorship goes far beyond what's required by Senate Bill 37 & Texas A&M system policies. AAUP shared that faculty are trained to facilitate critical analysis, not to manufacture consensus or dictate personal belief."

AAUP National Responds to ODU President
"The particular authority and primary responsibility of the faculty in the decision-making processes of the academic institution in these areas derive from its special competence in the educational sphere. It follows from this proposition that the faculty should play an active and meaningful role in the development as well as in the revision of institutionalpolicy in those areas in which the faculty has primary responsibility."

The list of data the federal government requested — lists of + contact info for all Jewish faculty, staff, students; lists of ppl who attended listening sessions; lists of ppl who received a task force survey — is absurd
