The CPLT-C1 moves at the average walk of 4 and boasts 10 tons of armor and 15 heat sinks. The primary weapons are mounted on the arms, which have no lower arm or hand actuators. This allows it to flip its arm weapons to aim in its rear arc, although as a long-range unit this is rarely necessary.

Best way to control a fusion plasma is likely combining external actuators & internal plasma behaviors. Fusion plasmas produce waves and modes that affect particle & energy transport across the device. The more the plasma self-regulates, the less effort (cost) needs to come from external control. 🧪

There is a general misperception that consciousness can arise in a neuronal network performing only logical calculations. This is not the case. Consciousness needs to have sensors and actuators to the outside world. Our thoughts need to be tested in reality all the time.

The ad is also funny because the entire house is... old school.
It's not full IoT, which can be entirely offline (yes, no Internal connection, all local) with plenty of sensors AND actuators plenty of its "tasks" superfluous while being cheap and more reliable simply because it's specialized.

The shell replacement took a few hours, mostly to disassemble correctly. I wasn't afraid of breaking it, as removing the rear shell in the first 5 min snapped the actuators for the L&R buttons. I tried resoldering it, but I was unsuccessful. I can still play games, that don't use those buttons.

I despise the direction of adding functional capability to cars but only unlocking it to subscriptions. I wish we had a functioning government that would ban such practices. Either add the sensors/actuators and capability in an XL package, or don't! Adding it but locking it is mind numbingly hostile
