The empirical age has made us aggressively ignorant. My animality is not authored as a univocal predication. The eidetic variations and infinite morphisms that delimit me from ‘fox proper’ can be thought up by anyone! Few remain that will affirm a proposition’s analogic/aesthetic truth-value.

It's been wild to see this happen in real time over the last 10+ years. On one hand I'm thrilled there's more therians, on the other hand it often feels like it's harder to connect with many younger/newer therians over mutual animality because they view it through a totally different framework.

I bring up how i relate differently to these animals to show that there are many ways one can have therian feelings. There's no right or wrong way to have these ties to animality & not relating to others' experiences doesn't make u less real. Therianthropy is a catchall & should be somewhat vauge

Someone on goodreads described this collection as “horrors of mundane despair” and I agree. Themes of animality and escape. Suspenseful, psychologically acute, and uncanny, I loved these stories.
