Rodent semicircular canal (SCC) shape and size reveal how they move! 🐀 Agile arboreal species have larger canals, while fossorial ones have smaller. SCC morphology helps predict locomotor behaviour and even reconstruct how fossil rodents moved 🦴 #Anatomy #Evolution #Rodents doi.org/10.1111/joa....

Chilocorus bipustulatus (Heather LB) was incredibly common in Brittany! I had it from all sorts of evergreen shrubs and conifers! Quite often with other species, such as Chilocorus renipustulatus (Kidney-spot LB) and Rhyzobius chrysomeloides (Arboreal LB). #Coccinelle #Ladybird #France

If you’re not ready for leaf-peeping season to be over, it doesn’t have to be. Many destinations across the U.S. are only now seeing their arboreal colors turn. While New England’s autumnal awe may be behind us, here are 10 places you can still find fall foliage in the U.S.—with many of the scarlet and gold displays lasting well into November.

My favorite snake--which I've only seen twice--is the rough green snake, a beautiful, bright green arboreal snake that enjoys climbing. Tongue extended, this one had to tolerate a tiny ant crawling towards its face as it sat in some ground debris after a stupid photographer almost stepped on it.

Vincent Price’s arboreal, handsome self makes Russ Quinton’s character MUCH more palatable here. In the book, he was much older, one of Dr. Berent’s professional associates who knew (and was attracted to; blech!) Ellen since she was about 12 or 13. She knew it.

Which Rick Worthy Trek role is your favorite—and why?
