A young Argiope aurantia, or yellow garden spider or zipper spider as I always called them. It's a very small young one. Very happy to see it as I rescued a full sized adult from a co-worker a few years back & this one appeared where I had freed the other. #spider #Argiopeaurantia

ZIG ZAG - The Yellow Garden Spider weaves a thick white zig zag in its web. The females have bright yellow on abdomen. This male was in a classic pose & on a fake version of the pattern. Not the same but maybe close enough for now. #nature #argiopeaurantia #xmarksthespider
