Due to her past, she had no desire to continue pursuing her dream as a singer until one day, her son Toki had to ask her on helping him with his singing project homework which requires both a parent and child to sing together. Ermagire's SMA23 submission: Her Voice and I Behind The Scenes - Character Designs ←25 yrs old 5 yrs old ↓ 10 yrs old→ 15 yrs old→ Toki is initially a female named Yume which means dream (lol), but after some considerations, I decided to make him male. Even though it's a silent manga that doesn't have any dialouge, I wanted to give them names just because. Ermagire's SMA23 submission: Her Voice and I Behind The Scenes - Character Designs She is just an NPC that I somehow drew her really cute. She was originally a caregiver for 50-year old Eri and she had some screentime around at the end of the story. But due to the pacing, I had to get rid of her entirely. However, I felt bad that I don't wanna waste her character design for nothing, so I drew her as the singer on the very first page and she can be seen on a billboard later on in the pages. This is Eri's father and he's abusive and an alcoholic. He shall burn in hell. Ermagire's SMA23 submission: Her Voice and I Behind The Scenes - Last Notes Despite not winning any award, I'm glad I actually finished a manga submission for the first time because I had made 2 unfinished one-shot manga, but they're not fully lined and inked. although that I've finished this submission, I'm not satisfied with the result of the art quality because I pretty much rushed it during the lining and inking process. Such as having to sacrifice some backgrounds from the sketch in order to save time because the deadline was so close. There's also some errors in one of the panels where Eri's sleeve was missing and I forgot about it because I was freaking awake for 24 hours TvT I even forgot to put the music notes which I unfortuntely forgot to do so. I made a lot of mistakes in it, but next time, it'll be much better than this.

Bolt hiding her guitar Public Background: Bolt McAskill is a guitarist from Memphis, Tennessee. Her mom worked in a restaurant while her dad was a well-known guitar singer in the town. When Bolt isn't in school, she would be with her dad learning to play different songs with the guitar. Her younger cousin on her mom's side, Starlite, who lived one state over, was talented in singing. The two would always put on a show at every family reunion. Now older, Bolt does gigs around Memphis, jumping in between going solo and being in a group as the guitarist.

She was the only child of the Blackwell family- which was a music family. She grew up learning about music instruments alongside education. She was naturally gifted with the skill to sing, but she took private singing lessons to improve herself. Her elder cousin, Bolt McAskill, was taught how to play the guitar by her father. At every family reunion back when they were under 10 years old, they would do a little music gig for the event. The crowd always loves it. Her rise to fame continued from there, singing in talent shows to using social media for exposure. Once old enough she signed with a label to start making music professionally.
