Australia Institute analysis shows policies allowing virtually unlimited exports of gas from eastern Australia led to a TRIPLING of gas prices and DOUBLING of wholesale electricity prices.
We have a gas export problem, not a gas shortage problem.

Australia has an opportunity to get out of AUKUS. We should take it.
We ask the Albanese Government to prioritise Australia's interests and security, and to join the UK and the US Governments in undertaking an independent parliamentary inquiry into AUKUS.

I feel sick when I hear these FACTS.
Governments of all persuasions have failed to look after the Australian people who voted for them.
They have failed future generations.

Policy of the Day: Five ideas to make our tax system better.
If we make the gas industry pay their fair share, reduce loopholes that benefit the wealthy, and stop subsidising fossil fuels, we can collect more revenue to build world-class services that a country like Australia deserves.

Approving Woodside's huge gas export plant for another 50 years would mean approving:
🔴 Higher energy bills for West Australians
🔴 90 million tonnes of emissions per year (as much as 12 coal power stations)
🔴 Destroying ancient Murujuga rock art
And for what? They pay minimal royalties & no PRRT.
