And processing directives could be used to toggle on, and off, autonumbering, and perhaps dictate which form is in use (e.g. "%autonumber-pattern: [0-9]+[.]" -- yes I want to use a regex. But that's likely just me and 5 others on the planet. I'll take a vastly simplified one as well.)

In current versions of Creatio, autonumber fields are now set as a column default value. This new type of autonumber field is much easier to create (the previous method involved creating system settings, then modifying the object subprocess or adding code to pages)...

Using @pglite.dev as a cache for Automerge and everything works surprisingly well; all in the browser. Eventually hope to use it for things like client-side full-text search over Automerge docs.
