First reports of hail in northeastern Colorado this year, as I'm aware of. Roughly half an inch. It was reported to BigDawgWx on Facebook by MarknKristi Dix near Lone Star Schools in Washington County, CO at roughly 7 pm.

Today we could expect more of the same as yesterday with regards to temperature. It's going to be overnight that gets frigid. Make sure you bundle up and keep a faucet running, especially if you live in the higher elevations in the mountains.

Looks like a cold snap could be coming for northeastern Colorado within the next 6-10 days. With us being in 80% below average temperatures this time of the year. We could also see a little more moisture within that same time frame and we desperately need it.

We have a slight risk of heavy snow between January 17th through 23rd in northeastern Colorado. It's still pretty far out to know for sure what will happen so we'll keep our eyes on this and post a forecast once we feel comfortable doing so, usually 48 to 24 hours out.
