A Trump supporter told me I have TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) and that I should stop taking my meds for bipolar disorder.

So, I don’t talk about this much, which I’m trying to break the habit of… but, I’m bipolar2 and the other day I was drinking with my partner and all of a sudden I just had to go out… He’s a bit Aspergers (his words) and had spent hours so busy “showing me” he forgot I was there and a person…. 1/

Very grateful for my care team. I was able to meet with a therapist, a psychiatrist, and got my meds all within a week. They actually listen to me and are so knowledgeable. #bipolar2

I often wonder if I have bipolar 2. I was originally diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. But now they dont even use that terminology. My uncle was bipolar and had violent breaks. My teen is bipolar2. I don't feel improvement. In retrospect I'm worse. But still on sooo many meds

💯!!! Story time: my last psych misdiagnosed bipolar2 when i voiced concerns about having ADHD. Even when my neuropsyche eval confirmed the latter but not the former. She fucking doubled down and refused to treat. So I got a new psych and new meds. Lesson learned lol!

The thing they don't tell you about a bipolar diagnosis of any flavour is that when you're nailing something a little voice appears In the back of your head wondering if you're actually nailing it or if you're just having a manic/hypomanic episode.

Yeah, I need to get mine up and running. I learned that actually it hits the hardest for my brain when the sun comes back and it is TOO MUCH, so thanks bipolar2, because that is *different* overwhelming?? So now I live with light boxes and black out shades. 😂 Because GOLDILOCKS.
