#birdwalks
Are you part of the Audubon Society here, or subscribed to their newsletters? They do some nice birdwalks but I've never been on one.

Totally geek out when the local birdclub updates the calendar with future birdwalks. :) I'm excited for some fall #birding, which will likely include a hawkwatch and a big sit and another all-day raptor event. Yay!!

Celebrating my progress! I started birding in Jan 2022. 2025 is my 4th year birding, and I set the intention to Be a Better Birder. Part of that is using eBird to consistently log my birdwalks. It's a great tool for tracking life lists and the birds you see.

It's a little high and we'd have to Luther it to get over some parts and it's got too many birdwalks.

Yes, our shelties have really hated heat, especially hot sun. Even when it's 70 degrees, Fiona tries to walk in the shade I cast. Since my pups always accompany me on lengthy birdwalks, we have taken to giving them fairly short furcuts in warm months. Seems to help a lot.
