I finally solved the purple render issue. Apparently it was just the scale used in the subsurface scattering. All I needed to do was continue the tutorial, and the issue was actually explained. 😅

I didn't stray too much from the instructions, I added a donut of my own, it's the Oreo donut that I really like from Lidl but I couldn't make believable sprinkles.
