I have 1640 yards of De Rerum Natura Gilliatt, which is plenty to knit either pattern. It’s a wool worsted weight yarn. If #threeseasonscardigan I would knit a longer body. If the #bookclubcardigan I’d probably knit it with a couple of mods as suggested by Ravelry users.
