Just finished watching The Wild Robot! This has been on my to-watch list for a good long while now, and honestly I thought it was pretty good, all things considered! Loved Roz as the main character, and I enjoyed Fink and Brightbill too! Only downside I will give is that the ending was a bit rushed.

Just watched The Wild Robot. I balled the minute Roz held Brightbill as they fell through the air hurtling towards the earth reminiscing on their life together. It’s not as good as Flow but it’s a sweet film.

My 8-year-old had read it before the movie, but we read it together after the movie and they’re very different, because there’s less tension with the animals in the book, but the relationship between Roz and Brightbill is just as sweet if not more so
