Around 75,000 small business contract with or sell the the federal government. Starting next week they won’t be getting paid. That will cause many to lay off workers, many will go bankrupt within a month. Small businesses are hyper-sensitive to cashflow interruptions.

(It’s a cashflow thang now, thankfully, there were decades where this was crisis mode but fortunately I’ve progressed that to cashflow mode)

Dear Tom,
The frog costume is currently busy distracting ICE with interpretive dance and a spectacular display of glitter. Meanwhile, the check is sneaking past a coalition of suspicious garden gnomes and should arrive… eventually.
Best regards,

What do I intend to do if helped?

Avoid further debt like the plague and use any leg up to get to a safer area while I focus my attention on using the cashflow to take out the rest.

Beause David Zaslav is a bigot who cancelled multiple diverse programs like OFMD and Rap Sh!t to free up cashflow for his ludicrous structured bonus. Zaslav, who couldn't even sit through Fleabag without closing his eyes like he was watching a scary movie

NO ONE has a duty to pay fascists. So stop.

Use your own power to defund tyranny. Opt out of federal income tax withholding from your paycheck. The workforce is 135 million strong. If 7 mil -just 5.2%-did this, this regime's cashflow crashes:

Soms moet je op de vrijdagmiddag even een mail de deur uit doen met 'ik stop met deze klus'. Matig voor de cashflow maar weldadig voor de ziel.

Iemand aannemen is duur in dit land. Ondertussen zorgt ze wel al 15j voor werk in onze stad.

Op gezette tijden dient ze stock te reserveren en betalen. Wat een cashflow issue is. Tegelijk komen klanten bij haar passen, om online te vergelijken & kopen. Ze verbruiken haar resources, zonder verkoop.

yah META did a bunch of issuance but it's plausibly for convenience...they have $47bn of cash/equivalents and generated $9bn in free cash flow (operating cashflow less capex) last quarter.

Oracle only has $14b in cash, and they're cashflow negative, so this is financed with borrowed money.

What do you want to bet that they're taking the rental agreements for those GPUs, and using them as collateral to borrow money from private credit in order to buy more GPUs?

Johnson on nuking the filibuster: "Is it wise? A lot of people would tell you it's not. I mean, on the Republican side, I would be deeply concerned if the Democrats had a bare majority in the Senate right now of Marxist ideology taking over the Democrat Party...turning us into a communist country"

Azt hinnéd a régi játékok könnyűek mai ésszel. Hát nem, vért izzadok, hogy az eredeti #SimCity2000 alatt beindítsak egy várost. Jelenleg a biztos anyagi csőd felé bandukol a második. Pedig majdnem jó volt minden, sokáig volt pozitív a cashflow. 😞

Megvárom míg bedől és elmegyek ebédelni.

In January 2021, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, 11.6 percent of the US population, or 37.9 million people, were living in poverty

And Trump’s GOP is cutting tax for some, raising the Defense & ICE budgets, building a $200M ballroom, but they can’t manage to keep a positive cashflow/balance?

Separate from my occasional tepid defense of buyouts, the EA deal doesn't make sense: it's mature company growing at like 5% with really fat margins already and it only does like $2-ish billion in cashflow. If you load it up with $20 billion of debt at 7.5% you've vaporized all your profits already.
Buying a company by taking out a massive loan, then making the company you bought responsible for paying off that loan, is so patently evil that it should be beyond illegal. The kind of thing that inspires enlightened societies without corporal punishment to bring back the death penalty as a one-off
