The best. The auto-convert gimmick may not always work reliably, but it’s so much fun. I really don’t see the need for more cassettebots given these exist.

Why not. I make my own Autobots. They are cassettebots for Blaster that I call the birdbots. Patriot is the leader of the group and is an eagle. Redbird is a cardinal, Crook is a crow, Jay is a blue jay and Oakley is a oriole. Blaster needs more cassettes to match Soundwave's army.

The current situation with modern cassettebots... kinda sucks? Earth-mode Laserbeak, Ravage and Buzzsaw is SPENSIVE.

It does have challengers in things like the Combiners (six dwarves in a trenchcoat), Pretenders (Kinder Surprise with guro elements), Cassettebots (bunch of guys living inside some guy's jacket), and Headmasters (jam a guy onto another person's neckhole)

iirc These are from a chinese-exclusive filler season while they were waiting for Season 2 to be produced. It was Live Action for some reason, and the cards summoned animals instead of weapons.

SG Soundwave & Blaster (& friends) are awesome. Current display has a nice smattering of my cassettebots with two Soundwave-sized holes.
Linkin Parkwave is coming soon. Just need Encore Soundblaster & Twincast and the stupidly expensive Cobalt Sentries and this bit is complete!
