It's really well written & one of the writers is #josswhedon It's a shame that he has problems & got cancelled because he really is a talented writer, the 1st Avengers movie he wrote & directed was really great! #octoberhorrormoviechallenge #31horrorfilms31days 🎃 #day22 - #nightofthedemon It should have been called "Night of the Bigfoot" since this is a movie about a Bigfoot, not a demon! Though it was originally called "Revenge of Bigfoot", but they changed the title when it turned out that the Bigfoot movie genre (which was popular in the 70's) was starting to not being popular anymore. Or they could have called it "Night of the Monster" instead since Bigfoot is more of a monster than a demon! The movie was originally less gory, but the producer shot & added some gory kill scenes without the director knowing & this is one of the rare moments where the producer did something right! Not only are the gore kills hilarious & memorable, but without it the movie would have been boring! "Your Sister.." sounds like a Goosebumps book for crying out loud! 😂😜 The 1st Howling movie is a good movie & one of the best movies in the #werewolf genre, while the sequels (and a reboot?) where not, especially this one. But this is a so bad it's good type of movie you would watch with friends on a Bad Movie Night, and the gore effects wasn't that bad. The Howling is based on a book & it also got sequels as well, yet this movie is not based on the 2nd book & the author did actually do the screenplay on this movie at first, but then quit & it was rewritten by another person, using a different script that took out vampires & replaced with werewolves instead (which you can obviously tell!) #octoberhorrormoviechallenge #31horrorfilms31days 🎃 #day9 - #motelhell When you look at the original poster (this poster & not the other one that has become more common now) you think this will be an ultra violent Texas Chainsaw Massacre ripoff, but it's more of a dark, sometimes raunchy 😉😏, comedy & it's barely any violence at all. Though the script was originally darker & more violent, but the director wanted to tone it down & just wanted it to be a dark comedy. It sucks that this movie flopped cause it was one of the best movies of 2015 & it's one of Del Toro's best movies! Taarna's theme by movie composer Elmer Bernstein (who also composed the music for Ghostbusters) was originally meant for Farrah Fawcett's character in Saturn 3, but it was never used so it was used for this movie instead. The songs E5150 by Black Sabbath & Through Being Cool by Devo was never included on the soundtrack album, mostly because of license issue. There was legal difficulties surrounding the use of some songs in the movie which delayed its release to VHS in 1996. Rewatched the #educational #frenchcartoon #onceuponatimeman I remember they showed this cartoon on TV at weekends at the time when we were talking history in either 4th or 5th grade. And when we started to talk about the human body they ironically started to show Once Upon a Time...Life. Coincidence or they knew exactly what subjects kids would talk & read about when & where at the schools? Even though this is a French production, they where also in co-production with other countries as well such as Sweden (Sveriges Radio, SR).
