Pondering breaking with tradition, where most of the #christmashorse games are contained in one exe, all written in C++/SFML, maybe I will be more productive if Horse6 we make with RenPy, and then maybe I can make Horse7 with my Omelet Engine. Something novel to keep me motivated.

Added some side art... The painted backgrounds are on a square canvas so I'm trying to make the viewport closer to 4:3 and using HUDs to do so. ^_^;;

I mean I do love a chonky HUD, like DOS and PC98 days.

Added a "page" state stack, as well as "behavior" for characters which currently just includes a slide movement and a wobble when talking.

Working on a very basic visual novel script system and parser for it. :3

I haven't had much gamedev time so I had to spend a bunch of time remembering how to use my own game engine T_T lol

Was talking to Bekah today about how I want to make digital things but with the MINIMAL amount of time at a computer

- like edit slides on paper then edit on a computer to make a video.

Or she's painting backgrounds for a visual novel and I'm thinking of making #christmashorse paperdolls.
