Zwischen leuchtendem Hα/SII und kühlem OIII formt 68 Cygni diese „Schale“ aus Gas und Staub. Ein oft übersehener Schatz neben NGC 7000.

The Clamshell Nebula (SH2-119) is quite large but it often gets overlooked due to its next door neighbor, the North American Nebula. There are some beautiful structures in this nebula so I included a closer view of its core.
