A headline to doubt put a smirk on the face of some wealthy people. It misses the point.

The status quo: Does. Not. Add. Up!

Inequality and poverty fostering fascism.
Destruction of nature & most other species.
Plastic pollution everywhere: rivers, soils, human bodies.
Climate chaos accelerating.
And today it's the turn of The Times to try and patronise us all.

Every single day the right wing establishment tries to close ranks.

And every day we are growing.

i think I read somewhere that because of our social nature we can afford to offload more information to others in the group; wouldn't be surprised if the climate plays a part too

We need a Democratic party that stands for universal health care. We need a party that faces the problem of income inequality head-on. A party that educates the public about the existential nature of the climate crisis and promotes action in proportion to the threat. We need a Green New Deal.
