if you're not in their service area, Grocery Outlet is a store whose whole business model is selling off overstock and closeout stuff from name brand and private label items. it's a whole thing and the inventory swings wildly week to week.
grocery outlet fucking rules because you will always find some version of what you're looking for but it'll be made by a brand you're pretty sure doesn't exist

if you live on the west coast the order of buying groceries is to start at gross out (grocery outlet) then go to Fred Meyer and look for items with quick sale stickers in the dairy/meat sections and finally hit up Winco to round it all out

I've thought about this play plenty since yesterday. Curry draws two and relocates to the corner. Ayton tells Luka to pick him up. Payton sets a screen to prevent a closeout. Draymond fakes the pass to Curry to get Luka in the air, opening up the Payton cut. Good stuff all around.

the price mistake (closeout sale? unclear how intentional it was) also had a bunch of anime figurines which is odd because it was supposed to be for home furnishings.

Good to see. Procurement reform anywhere needs: MUCH better pre-solicitation planning by budgeting and stakeholders, real category management, contractor performance oversight (concurrent with performance, not as a closeout audit), time to negotiate btwn bids/awards, and much more staff.

I only watched the HOU/OKC game closely and I don't recall seeing that called. Good question, I think the rule is there to further protect shooter against reckless closeout. Still unclear to me on how it is enforced cause I saw that play called both ways in preseason, in the same game too.

As with all closeout stores milage may vary, and it's obviously older stuff but saw some one get a CW Supergirl in an adult size for five bucks. So, they have kids to adult sizes. Might get lucky.

👀 CTA has requested letters of interest and qualification for the Forest Park rebuild from IMD to Forest Park. Funding has not been identified but this contract is a five-year base with up to another 14 years of allowable extensions.
