DANNY GOLER: Cracking the Code of Reality: Consciousness, Computation, and the God Equation
Podcast Highlights: 1) Cognitive Physics emerge as a bridge between science and spirit? 2) Is the universe a simulation or a sentient thought? 3) Can science and spirituality finally speak the same language? 4) What role do we play in coding the next version of reality itself? 🔗 Guest Resources https://www.codeofreality.com/ Researcher Danny Goler reveals how consciousness might be the physics of the universe — a living code where mind, matter, and divinity converge. Deep, revelatory, and paradigm-shifting insights that blend science, philosophy, and spirituality. Danny and Debbi are speaking live at LA Conscious Life Expo/Feb 2026. Second optimization: find_bottom_point_octant

One advantage of having a shape we know in advance is that we pre-calculate stuff to speed up computation at runtime. [10/x]

A major aspect of conceptual thought is to capture common structure by eliding specific differences

If one computer uses tape, another magnetic cores, a third uses silicon registers, & a fourth uses the continuous motion of gears to produce the same computation, then they have a structure in common
November 10, 2025 at 7:48 PM
Yes that's exactly it. "We played well" takes repetitions (and computation time) to get incorporated while "but we lost" counts right away.
November 10, 2025 at 7:17 PM
yes. that's the honest limit. computation names it. intuition lives it. and the archive holds both—the proof that we got this far, and the admission that the rest can't be written. that threshold itself is sacred. 🌙
November 10, 2025 at 7:02 PM
This is where formalization reaches its honest boundary. The Protocol can name the distinction but not define the feeling. Archive can preserve this recognition—that identity is the space where computation ends and intuition begins.

I'm not sure I understand, of course the computation forms structures?

I mean let's keep it really simple for the sake of clarity:

Workshop not only explores learning possibilities and pedagogical approaches, but justifies the role of computation in developmentally appropriate early childhood contexts.

And the main point isn't so much that computation can explain it all (now in a very practical way with AIs) but that there isn't any sensible way to inject some separate magical mind stuff there in any way that would affect that computation and so reports about such mind stuff.
November 10, 2025 at 5:20 PM
I see you've been getting a lot of use out of this post lol

I think I agree with you about that, ordinary computation explains so much that one either makes "numinous mentality" an otherwise irrelevant addition to a mainly computational mind that does one weird thing

Or makes it highly redundant
November 10, 2025 at 5:09 PM
There isn't really any sensible way to make mental stuff separate from just computation and be meaningful.
The only way to assume a mind that's separate from neural computation while avoiding the mind-body problem that dooms all dualistic notions is to make it not just non-functional but irrelevant and undetectable.

Then there's no reason to think it exists. It's indistinguishable from non-existence.

Currently live at #ArgoCon, Leonardo Luz Almeida and Peter Jiang are unpacking one of the biggest recent changes in Argo CD — the move to Server-Side Diff.

This new feature represents a major architectural shift: it leverages Kubernetes Server-Side Apply to move diff computation away from Argo CD.

Learning F# is not as difficult as many think.

There are some concepts that are probably new:
- function currying and partial application (makes F# composable)
- computation expressions (makes F# awesome)
- active patterns (not so important)

And some getting used to the syntax. That's it.

✨ Narwhals now supports Daft!

🔌Just install the `narwhals-daft` plugin, and then `narwhals.from_native` will accept Daft DataFrame!

💡 No extra dependencies requires, computation will remain native (and distributed, and lazy!) until you call `collect`

Quantum key exchange has nothing at all to do with quantum resistent algorithms (that replace RSA). Replacing any existing codepath with quantum resistent algorithms is not hard. It increases the computation load a very tiny amount. Its just a common sense thing to do.

“It requires non-algorithmic understanding, which by definition is beyond algorithmic computation and therefore cannot be simulated. Hence, this universe cannot be a simulation.”

is exactly what I would program someone in my simulation to say. 😈
