A first for me: Corambe pacifica, a tiny little nudibranch (sea slug) that feeds on bryozoans - and it has evolved camouflage to blend in! I only spotted this one because it was on surf grass. Grows to 15 mm, lives mostly on kelp-encrusted bryozoans from Baja to Vancouver. 🥹

I only saw one nudibranch over the weekend, and it was a rare one: my second Pacific corambe (Corambe pacifica). These little nudis get to about 2 cm and feed only on bryozoans, and they look like bryozoans themselves. 0-10 meters, from Alaska to Puerto Vallarta. 🦑 #tidepooling 📸Olympus TG6
