A member of the Creepkillers, as well as the student of Indrid Cold. A few years ago, Jane lost her parents to a house fire whilst she was at school. When she returned to what was left of her home, she found a mysterious cracked, white mask. All signs pointed to the fire being caused by the notorious masked serial killer: Jeffrey C. Hodek, as he had been reported to be within the area last night. Taking the mask with her, she was determined to find her parents' murderer and kill him herself.

After wandering the streets for many sleepless nights, trying to hunt him down, she learnt how to use a blade and was able to hold her own in a fight. Eventually, her paths crossed with Indrid Cold, the leader of the Creepkillers, who was in the area on a mission. After witnessing her fend off a gang of thugs harassing her with nothing but a knife, he offered her a position to join him as a Creepkiller. Jane accepted his offer, hoping that this may lead her closer to finding Jeff.

Jane is usually quiet and reserved, even more so after becoming an orphan, though she still does what she can to help those in need. She struggles socially at times, but she sees her fellow Creepkillers as friends worth protecting and bonding with. Although an extremely efficient fighter, her paranoia and lust for revenge can lead her to making irrational decisions at times.

Indrid Cold is the friendly leader of the Creepkillers, and Jane's mentor. His past is shrouded in mystery; all Jane knows about his history is that he was a student of the Mothman: A legendary beast who fought for mankind against the Red King's forces during the Red War, which Indrid was a part of. Nowadays, he dedicates his life to protecting the humans from the many monsters that still plague the world after the war. He does feel a sense of guilt for betraying/killing his own kind, but he also understands the danger they bring to mankind.

Despite being the leader of a team mostly dedicated to killing Creeps, Indrid prefers to solve problems in a peaceful manner. If he can find a way to talk things out with as little bloodshed as possible, potentially with a cup of tea and some biscuits, he'll take it. That being said, if he was to fight, Indrid's high agility and reflexes, as well as his super strength, make him a dangerous force to be reckoned with.

Though his tall stature and his eerie, seemingly permanent smile, make him come across as an intimidating figure, Indrid Cold is nothing but friendly, polite and well-spoken with others. He is also an orderly individual, liking it when things are neat and organised. He sees Jane almost like a daughter to him, despite only knowing her for a few years, and vows to protect her with his life, alongside the other members of his team/family.

Face is a sentient AI who works alongside the Creepkillers. Face is the one who reports to Indrid and his fellow agents of Creep activity he can detect, as well as any information he can gather about the targets. Face does not know much about his origins, only that he remembers activating in what seemed to be an empty space not usually accessible by natural means. The complex was seemingly endless, but there were no signs of life anywhere.

That was, until an unusual man known as Indrid Cold somehow stumbled into one of these areas. The two ended up becoming friends, and Face allowed Indrid to come and go as he pleased. The man decided to set up within Face’s domain, which would eventually become the base for the Creepkillers. Nowadays, Face acts as the base’s caretaker, making sure everything is working as it should be.

Face is a curious AI who is always asking questions, desiring to learn more about the world and the people living in it. He hasn’t been able to see much of it on account of him being confined in a ‘space between spaces’. His queries can get a little personal or blunt at times, but only because he doesn’t fully understand emotions and boundaries too well. Sometimes Face can get a little carried away with his own emotions, causing him to change colors and go through ‘mood whiplash on occasion.

Grinny is Indrid's pet mutant cat and a (kind of) member of the Creepkillers. Formerly going by Oscar, he was a kitten abandoned by his owners. For most of his infancy, he was alone on the streets. That was, until one day, an imposing man donning a gas mask swept him up and took him to his hidden laboratory. There he became subject to many horrific and painful experiments. These sessions of torture and abuse caused his body to mutate - his fur started to fall out and his mouth stretched and contorted into a permanent smile.

Through these experiments, he also developed psychic powers, allowing him to speak via telepathy, as well as granting him the ability to move objects with his mind. Using these newfound powers, as well as some help from some fellow mutants, Oscar was able to escape the lab and run away from the monsters that kept him trapped for so long. Now going by Grinny, a nickname given to him by his friends, he was found on the streets, hungry and injured, by Indrid Cold, who took him back to the base and nursed him to full health.

Grinny decided to stick around afterwards, it was better than scrounging for food out there, and his savior treated him far better than the scientist and his lackeys back at the lab. It felt nice to finally live like a normal cat, lazing around, causing occasional mischief, receiving scratches behind the ears etc. Though, he is still frequently haunted by his past, and can’t help wondering if his friends back at the lab are going to be ok, or if ‘he’ will ever find him.

X is one of the many Creeps that inhabit the new world, and a persistent thorn in the Creepkillers’ sides. A narcissistic, power-hungry demon whose primary goal is to take over the world as its one and only king, and turn the human race into an all-you-can-eat buffet of tasty, tortured souls. Using illusions and trickery, X likes to make his victims feel hopeless and weak, as their souls taste much more delicious when the victim’s spirit is broken at the time of death.

A former enemy of Tom, X made it his mission to make his life a living hell. And he would’ve won, had it not been for the Creepkillers intervening. Ever since then, X has sought to rectify his humiliating defeat by bringing down the team, one way or another. Just when they think he’s gone, X finds a way to return and cause trouble another day. His plans usually go awry due to his immaturity and short fuse getting the better of him when things don’t go his way.

Despite his large ego and childish nature, X is a deceptively powerful entity capable of bending the fabric of space to his will - being able to create portals that can transport him across space, as well as manipulating and reshaping the environment around him. He can also split parts of himself off to form the Lackeys: a group of weaker entities, each with their own personalities and traits, who follow X’s every command.

Jim G. Pastel’s story is one of greed and manipulation. An intelligent Creep with the ability to cure cancer and other illnesses once seen as incurable, Pastel Man could’ve used his powers to change the world for the better. And yet, he chose to remain a slimy, money-hungry conman who uses his abilities, alongside his sharp tongue and manipulative tactics, to scam people out of their cold hard cash for his services.

Despite his nature as a scam artist, he always holds his end of the bargain. If someone needs healing, he will heal them. He can even raise the dead - with the cost for doing so either being something so high you’ll be in eternal debt, or something as easy to snatch as your own soul. No matter what, in the end, you will belong to him until that debt is repaid, one way or another.

The Pastel Man is a man of many talents and occupations, not just healing. Depending on the situation, he can be a doctor, a salesman, a performer, or, if you try to escape your debt, a cunning and surprisingly ruthless loan shark. Despite this, he’s also a coward, and isn’t opposed to begging and/or grovelling should his schemes backfire on him. And even then, he’s sometimes able to dodge consequences using loopholes and a bit of quick thinking.

In a world of monsters, ghosts and demons, there will always be anomalies. Disman and Happy Appy are two examples

There are some things in life that are beyond understanding, and trying to explain them only poses more questions that have no answer in sight. The entity known as Happy Appy is one of those things. A bizarre, hand puppet-like creature with no alignments to anyone, nor any known motives or plans. Appy moves and talks as if something, or someone, is puppeteering him, and yet no strings or arms are ever in sight whenever he appears.

Most of the time, there is no pattern as to when and where Appy will appear to the Creepkillers, or anyone for that matter. Sometimes he’ll show himself to the team on a mission, sometimes he’ll just appear to random strangers, sometimes he’ll even pop up in the Creepkillers’ hidden base to either relay a message from someone else, or to just have a quick chat. How he does all of this is yet another mystery to add to the pile.

Happy Appy’s manner of speech is very chipper and jovial-sounding. He could be relaying the gruesomest of details, and never change his tune. The worm inside his head, Freddrick, will also chip in to conversations every now and then, leading Appy to get distracted from bantering with his little friend.

Ever Dream This Man? A phenomena that spans across the entire world. A mysterious entity resembling a middle-aged man appears in hundreds of people’s dreams. Of course, in a world inhabited by monstrous Creeps who prey on souls for power and sustenance, things such as this are not uncommon. But those who encounter this ‘Dream Man’ claim that he is something else entirely.

There is a name to this face: Disman. At first, he was nameless, but after learning of his status as a worldwide urban legend, he thought it’d be funny to name himself after what people refer to him as. Disman has a very dry, blunt sense of humour, to mixed results. Some find him charismatic and endearing, others find him unnerving and odd. Regardless of public reception, Disman is always polite and friendly to those he encounters.

Disman’s pattern of appearing within dreams is unpredictable - some wondering if he even has control over it. That being said, it has been reported that he’ll sometimes appear to someone multiple times if he takes a liking towards the individual. It has also been reported that loves to chat, sometimes helping people through their own troubles within their own minds by offering his own perspectives and ideas to nudge them in a certain direction.

A masked Bounty Hunter, Louie Oswald specialises in hunting Creeps for clients under the alias of ‘Mr. Bear II’. Unlike the Creepkillers however, Louie does it for sport, as well as for profit. The thrill of facing demonic entities head on with nothing but your wits and weapons is why he loves his job. When he slays a Creep, he always makes sure to take a piece home with him to serve as a trophy of sorts, whether it be a tooth, some bone or otherwise. He also sometimes uses their parts to make custom weapons and equipment to add to his arsenal.

Louie is the estranged son of a man called Charles Oswald: The original ‘Mr. Bear’. Charles was a high-ranking member of the Red Roundtable - a worldwide cult who worshipped the Red King and the Creeps he commanded. After Charles was caught and incarcerated, Louie donned his dad’s tattered bear mask and took on the mantle of Mr. Bear, but only by name. He preferred to carve his own path in life, rather than stay within his father’s dark shadow.

Always cool and collected, Mr. Bear II makes sure to keep his head in the game. He views himself as just a man doing what he can to survive and thrive in a world of monsters, no ties to anyone or anything. His profession can cause him to bump into and/or butt heads with the Creepkillers, especially if they’re both after the same thing for differing reasons.

Whilst many, if not most, Creeps are seen as dangerous demons that feast on people’s souls, there are some who have managed to train the monsters, even keeping them as pets. One such creature is Momo: a small, bird-like Creep with a human head. She belongs to a mysterious, but wealthy man. At least, that was until she flew away and disappeared one day.

This person, wanting Momo to come home, decided to post a bounty on the creature, stating that a very handsome reward would be granted to whoever can catch and bring his pet back home alive. Ever since then it has been a wild goose chase. The Creepkillers, the Harvesters, Bounty Hunters and more have all entered the game to catch Momo and claim the bounty reward, but none have succeeded yet.

Momo definitely doesn’t make it easy for people to capture her, as she has the ability to petrify people with a single piercing glare, primarily used as a defense mechanism of sorts. She also has the ability to mimic human speech and sounds almost perfectly, very reminiscent of a parrot. Momo can also use this ability to throw off potential captors/predators - that, or to just annoy people.

Jeffrey C. Hodek was once like most teens. He had decent attendance and grades and a good relationship with his brother, Liu. The two were frequent targets of harassment from a trio of infamously sadistic bullies, but the brothers were able to handle themselves against the three most of the time. That was, until Jeffrey was ambushed alone one night, and fell victim to a nasty acid attack, courtesy of the bullies.

Though he survived, Jeffrey’s face was almost unrecognisable. The physical scars were bad, but the mental scars were worse. Once he was released from hospital, the boy decided to take matters into his own hands. Donning a sinister mask, he hunted down his tormentors, and brutally killed all three of them for what they took from him. Jeff achieved his revenge, and in the process, developed a taste for murder. The thrill, the rush, the satisfaction, it gave his life new meaning.

And so the killing continued. Jeff returned home and murdered not only his parents, but his brother too. He couldn’t have the past holding him back from his newfound purpose. In the present day, Jeff the Killer gained a sinister notoriety - silently stalking people in the dead of night and sadistically slaughtering them in their own bedrooms before vanishing into the night. Many have tried catching him, but he somehow always gets away to kill another day. Some wonder if there’s someone helping him escape, or if it’s truly all down to skill.

Derek Green is a Private Detective, and a trusted ally of the Creepkillers. He usually takes on cases that the authorities can’t/won’t solve, typically homicides that occur under mysterious circumstances. A lot of the investigations he gets involved with tend to also involve him coming face to face with the many Creeps roaming the Earth, hence why he tends to cross paths with Indrid and his team.

Derek’s desire to become a Detective stemmed from an overpowering sense of justice, and a desire to see change. The world is a dangerous place, even more so now thanks to the demonic monsters they share it with; Derek does what he can to make things safer, and he isn’t afraid to get his hands bloodied and dirty if it means protecting clients, targets or his allies.

Despite his gruff, no-nonsense exterior, Derek is good at heart. He isn’t opposed to offering his services for cheaper than usual, or even free sometimes, even if it means he’s gonna struggle a bit, money-wise. Though that usually means he’ll have to skip the bottle of whiskey when he goes grocery shopping. His life isn’t easy, but knowing that he’s making a difference with his line of work helps him get out of bed in the morning.

Michelangelo Murzilli serves as both the chef of the Creepkillers team, but also Indrid’s oldest and closest friend. But that wasn’t always the case. During the Red War centuries ago, a young Mix was tasked by the Red King himself to infiltrate the Mothman’s resistance and take it down from the inside. He was recruited into the team and was given the task of catering for refugees and survivors.

At first, he wasn’t happy with having to provide for his enemies, but quickly discovered a passion for cooking and baking food - Adding flair to pre-existing meals, and even making his own recipes on the fly. Overtime, Mix started warming up to humans, The Resistance, and Earth as a whole. The flora, the fauna, and especially the food.

Mix eventually gave up on his original mission entirely to help the Resistance out of the good of his own heart, and soon became one of Indrid’s most trusted allies, helping lead the Resistance in Italy. His deep, booming voice can make him sound threatening, but Mr. Mix is probably the sweetest member of the Creepkillers team. While he doesn’t usually assist the others on missions, his reliable cooking and warm, friendly nature make him a highly valued member/friend.

Hawke is what’s referred to as a “Halfblood Creep”: A human who possesses Creep-like powers. In Hawke’s case, he has the ability to fire air bullets from his fingers by making a finger gun gesture and saying the word “Bang”. He found out about this power the hard way when he was a child playing cowboys. One word was all it took to reduce his friend to a bloody mess. His death was originally chalked up to be a stray falling bullet, and life went one, Hawke’s mind burying this incident deep down over time.

That was until his powers showed themselves again years later whilst he was entertaining a kid at the park. One word was all it took. Her face was unrecognisable. And it happened again after an argument with his girlfriend. He didn’t even say it, he only pointed in anger. He couldn’t live with the guilt anymore. He found an isolated area and pressed his fingers to his head. One word is all it would take.

That was, until he was discovered by Indrid Cold, who had been reported of Creep activity in the area, but instead found a Halfblood, scared, hopeless and alone. The gentleman took him back to the base and helped him understand his powers a little more. Although Hawke still believed his powers to be a curse, Indrid explained that if he was to be cursed with these abilities, he could try using these abilities to protect others. Now Hawke helps the team on missions as a fellow Creepkiller.

Tom is one of the newer members of the Creepkillers alongside his friend, Eteled. When he first met the Creepkillers, he was at a low point in his life. He had been subject to a life-or-death game of willpower with a powerful Creep known as X, who was determined to take Tom’s soul. After being able to resist and brush off the demon’s scare tactics for a while, X murdered both Tom’s mother and his childhood friend just to break him down. Tom may have lost the game, had Jane and Indrid not been in the right place at the right time.

Using Tom’s knowledge of computer science and gaming, as well as Eteled’s unique abilities, the Creepkillers managed to defeat X and finally free Tom from the game. After which, Indrid offered both Tom and Eteled positions on the team, which they both accepted, having formed a strong bond with each other. Nowadays, Tom serves as a tech guy for the team, often working with Face on keeping the base’s technology up-to-date and functional. He also occasionally accompanies Eteled on missions as the “brain” to his “brawn”.

Relaxed and snarky, Tom likes to take things easy. He can also be quite stubborn when he wants to be, hence why he was able to endure X’s tricks and tactics for as long as he did. He is still plagued with guilt over the loss of his mother and best friend, but chooses to use that as motivation to be better and make sure nobody else has to go through what he did.

A member of the Creepkillers, as well as the student to Indrid Cold. A few years ago, Jane lost her parents to a housefire whilst she was at school. When she returned to what was left of her home, she found a mysterious cracked, white mask. All signs pointed to the fire being caused by the notorious masked serial killer: Jeffrey C. Hodek, as he had been reported to be within the area last night. Taking the mask with her, she was determined to find her parents' murderer and kill him herself.

After wandering the streets for a while, trying to hunt him down, she learnt how to use a blade and was able to hold her own. Eventually, her paths crossed with Indrid Cold, the leader of the Creepkillers, who offered her a position by his side as a Creepkiller after witnessing her fend off a group of thugs harassing her. Jane accepted his offer, hoping that this may lead her closer to finding Jeff.

Jane is usually quiet and reserved, even more so after becoming an orphan, though she still does what she can to help those in need. Although she struggles socially sometimes, she sees her fellow Creepkillers as friends worth protecting and bonding with. Although an efficient fighter, her paranoia and lust for revenge can lead her to making irrational decisions at times.
