Appleが6月6日に「Game Porting Toolkit(GPTK)」というツールをリリースしたんだって。これはWineとApple独自のD3DMetalを組み合わせたもので、DirectX 11と12に対応してるそう。CrossOverやParallelsに比べると、WindowsゲームをMacでプレイする方法は少し複雑みたいだけど、多くのDirectX 12ゲームが遊べるようになるらしいよ!

I'm so grateful to Valve for having effectively fixed shader compilation on Linux. Being exposed to the stutterfest that is D3DMetal made me aware how bad it was before.

・WINE DLLs for `d3d9.dll` and `d3d10.dll` are shipped in D3DMetal, but as far as I can tell, D3DMetal doesn't actually support either API.
