It also included higher-order activities such as Think-Pair-Share and Flow Chart Map. Crucially, DiffIt provides sources for transparency, which you can edit or supplement with your own URLs. You can export the results for free as a PDF.

DiffIt stands for differentiated instruction. It's perfect for adapting vocational texts, such as safety protocols or instructions, to different reading levels, making it ideal for mixed-ability groups.

Diffit was fantastic for instant differentiation, generating resources on the digestive system and The Ballad of the Botched Beach Break with vocab lists, questions and prompts. Pro tip: export as PDF, open in Google Docs, save as Word to retain formatting.

A Mentimeter poll showed teachers already using ChatGPT, Gemini, Diffit, Gamma, Brisk, and Microsoft Copilot for creating comprehensions, essays, rubrics, and UDL choice boards. The adoption is already happening!

School paid for Diffit AI(basic gist - lexile rewording tool: only I can't get a lexile test to apply this idea),which claims to differentiate (I know, I KNOW!). Teachers that ARE using it simply put it in a low grade language and everyone gets the same text.
Teachers need to be better than that.

I forgot about Diffit! Glad you found it useful for leveled readings.

Adding on, I did use DiffIt to create leveled readings last year from an authentic text to use with my intermediate students for an IPA. So some of them got an adapted text as well as the authentic. But I had to tweak the questions because it wasn't really giving me ACTFL IPA model questions.
