I guessed my comment would provoke some discussion about graffiti but my feeling is that this example is poor scribbling rather than skilled art. It's nothing more than tags and most of them are sub standard. Having seen stunning work in digbeth and stirchley I feel this simply messes up the scene.

This part of Birmingham is to be regenerated but when is the question. Behind the steel fence on the left is Smithfield, once a large market, the area is waiting to be developed. To the right are mixed purpose buildings and the main road to the city through Digbeth. It is a traffic jam on a Saturday afternoon. In the distance is St Martin's church and the Rotunda. One advantage of all the construction is the presence of numerous puddles left after the rain. Taken with the iPhone17 Pro. The arrangement of the lenses allows a low view point that creates a picture of interest.

The Seven Virtues - Charity, made by William Raphael Eginton in around 1810-18, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, UK. This painted glass window was taken from a church in the Great Barr area of the city in 1860 when it was remodelled in a different style. Saw them in 1982 at Leicester University, UK, with MDC supporting. I was 15 years old. A horrible, violent gig. Got given neo-nazi flyers on the way in from the British Movement. Skinheads repeatedly tried to storm the stage throughout. As scary as Crass gig in Digbeth in 1984 due to the neo-nazis.
