as a rule, german dogs are long, narrow, angular. Poodles, pinscher, doberman, daschund. The german spits is the most pointed of all the spitz types. It seems germans favored this look in dogs.

The basic difference between the people who fantasise about zombie apocalypse because it gets them off the hook for their "and then I'd get to murder all the subhumans :)" fantasies and your average Doberman appreciator is that bad dog ownership reasonably often actually kills people and dogs

We need to help this gorgeous amazing hearted Doberman, she's been nothing but amazing & it's the least we can do for everything she's done. We can be a community & help someone whose been amazing in many spaces.

Elke hadn’t lived in a house until a Rescue group received her & she journeyed here to live with me on the farm. Everything is new to her so when I turned on an oscillating heater this morning she responded by crawling under my desk & sitting in Nova’s little bed. I’ve since turned the heater off!!

I mind at primary school, about 1980, it was about 8:30am and there was a Doberman running around the playground, foaming at the mouth. We were all banging on the door for the caretaker, Barney, to let us in (he was Liam Neeson’s da) but he kept pointing to the clock and wouldn’t let us in

yeah, it's called cropping, and it's either outright cutting off the soft bits, or rigidly taping them upright so they grow into points (like on a doberman). there were claims of health benefits (like if it's a working dog their ears won't get damaged) but they're bullshit.
