Fanny the adorable white and tan chihuahua mix standing near the opening of a very big black plastic tunnel used for dog training and playtime. Sometimes when the more boisterous dogs are barking and chasing each other around the barn she’ll calmly step into the tunnel and let the pack race by her, as only she and Paisan are brave enough to go in there. Her head is cocked as she tracks their movements outside the tunnel. She’s a smart little girl and I am so proud of her. Not always easy being a petsitter’s dog! I am very blessed in my pets and my profession. 💝

Triple-spooning? I am one very grateful woman even if our “leaders” rip my life-essential government disability from me in the next hour, day, or month. Not that it’s causing me stress. Or my 80yo dad or mom, also reliant on their hard-earned social security. Would I live out of my forlorn and weatherbeaten Prius with them if we lost everything (but the Prius, I guess)? Absofuckinlutely. We sure as hell won’t be living out of a motherfucking cybertruck. Am I trying to live my life with gratitude in spite of my ever-growing anger? Yes, yes I am. But for now, let those sons-a-bitches burn.🔥
