If any other creatives are out there trying to force themselves to finish their projects, I highly recommend donating platelets. You can crank out a couple hours worth of work while they sap you, people in vital need get platelets. Total win-win.

Tattoos and piercings and blood donations: These are acceptable and you won't be deferred if the tattoo was performed in a state-regulated shop, using sterile needles and single-use ink. Same idea for piercings 😊

Went to donate platelets today and they won’t take my blood because my pulse and BP are too high. Yay for a personal record, I guess?
