The BBC have been*very* selective in how they represent his 'controversial' views. The only footage making the news is of him questioning a young female student about when a foetus becomes a baby. But then the BBC has been skipping merrily towards the reactionary downlands for a few years now

Dur dur de choisir, hormis le Thompson qui m'a profondément ennuyé et que je n'ai pas réussi à terminer, c'est une belle sélection que voilà, dommage que Downlands de Norm Konyu ou Origines de Jakub Rebelka n'aient pas été retenu, mais c'est le jeu des sélections🙂

I think of this guiltily if I ever drive through there. I ride paths across these chalk downlands often in the North and South Downs and they are incredibly fragile.

It wasn't on when we arrived but the Harp is now selling Evening Star Revival, brewed by Downlands, which is a bit ironic considering Fullers are still brewing "Dark Star Revival" AFAIK.

I seem to have revised and finished (reasonably well) half a dozen old poems recently – most from around 2012. Not 100% sure this bit of dark whimsy qualifies as 'done', but this is the most pleasing version of it I've achieved in several rewrites over many years.
