To me it looks like he used Ekhidna and other she dragons / drakaina (Kampe, Sybaris, Pytho-Delphyne) have a lower half snake upper half woman appearance, either that or the naga as Harryhausen's inspiration for 'Medusa'. Who's appearance is quite fluid, appearing as a lady centaur in ancient art.

This room has shown up in like 3 chapters now what the heck. That's like a 3rd of the comic by volume. I guess it's Griffin time baby
