dyinglight the beast spoilers - It’s really interesting to compare how aiden’s infected state acts in this game, compared to dl2 he killed pretty indiscriminately with the exception of one person, (but still more or less attacks) is lawan in one of the endings. Like towards the end he’s got some grip, but it’s obviously really difficult to keep his human mind whereas in the beast his human mind is completely knocked out—yet despite his, significantly far more, infected state he’s able to recognise who his enemies are. He saves crane from the explosion (of course not after choking him a lil, but honestly that’s how infected aiden says hi at this point) maybe subliminally recognising him or his infected mind can understand what are and aren’t threats—like when aiden killed all the baron’s men in the town hall but left the survivors alone and pretty much goes on to only kill the baron’s men. When Crane has to catch him and Aiden is aggressive but obviously that’s due to the AGRO GAS Crane was using to lure him in. Anyway, glad to know Aiden doesn’t have to worry (as much) about blacking out and killing people, his infected brain can tell who’s bad lol
