It turns out that Labour Together no longer believe that Labour took a wrong turn after WW2, but instead when Gladstone repealed the Combination Acts.

I think the ‘we can’t build things’ criticism is fair (but hardly original) but the bit I’m choosing to be most annoyed about is where he distinguishes dynamism from innovation then proceeds to define dynamism as EXACTLY WHAT ‘INNOVATION’ ACTUALLY MEANS.

montreal is awesome! in some ways, it's absolutely a model, from my perspective as an american in toronto. but toronto's got a lot going too, even as our urban matters keep making the news in a negative light. it's disingenuous to discuss cities without engaging with their complexity and dynamism.

Without old crust being consumed and new crust being created, all surface water is slowly stripped away and most of the atmosphere gets slowly locked away by chemical weathering. The lack of dynamism also denies the chemically-complex conditions for life to form in the first place.

And I feel that is why stories these days always fall a bit short. When you subscribe to dynamism, you live in a world where creative works often reward essentialism instead. In other words "this is what you are, what you've done, and what is deserved."

What Dems need is not necessarily to move far left on policy but to find candidates who can use the left’s tactics and dynamism to advance center left causes. Call it radial centrism or something

i mean, in my mind, you’d have a writer who crafts you the specific textual/written voice for a character with a bunch of sample passages in that void you’d then feed to the LLM and tell it to imitate when and where you do want a bit of dynamism in the dialogue with that character

All joking aside, this is one of my favorite monster sequences in any movie I've seen. The way this thing *moves*, the clarity and dynamism of the fight in spite of being first person, is just incredible work on the part of the animators.
