Lots of moose were undoubtedly shaking this morning, but also several thousand people from Toronto to Quebec City (distances of more than 500 km) reported feeling the shaking. Thanks. The map on the left (from earthquakescanada) is the past year of earthquakes in the Haida Gwaii region. This shows a northwest trending band of earthquakes across Graham Island - a typical feature. No specific faults are mapped here, but the geology (right) shows the same northwest trend. ⚒️🧪
