Just saw this, I guess you like EmberJS? I have not used it. I will check it out.

T-shirts that sounded like a Reasonably Good Idea in a hacker-infested field some miles from Berlin, but provoke questions in Darkest Finchley:

(Got MathJax going in emberJs with a random "Rich" editor that also had to work in IE8 once, and I don't especially like pain...)

Awwww yeeee

With emberjs, we technically externalize but the dependency is so small, loose and intentionally stable that we could make massive changes to ember and not break the tiny bit your library consumes. You’d survive most majors - not just minors or patches.

I feel so reminded of a gazillion discussions I read, in my case starting around 2012 with EmberJS

#emberjs is actually quite modern, just many teams are stuck on really old versions.

🙌 It’s @academiedesrenards.bsky.social and @chris.manson.ie on stage at #emberfest talking about @mainmatter.com #emberjs initiative. We achieved quite a lot, both pushing Ember forward as well as helping initiative members keeping their codebases modern and healthy. Great job Marine and Chris!

. @nickschot.bsky.social is on stage at @emberfest.eu talking about integrating #emberjs with other frameworks like #react or #svelte. We’ve worked with a number of clients on the topic at @mainmatter.com in the past few years

Hm. On mobile that didn't expand the preview.

But renderComponent is available on the repl, and the RFC for it is:

If you ever contributed to @warp-drive.io (via github - sorry folks from the pre-git and pre-GitHub years - that's mostly you Charles Jolly) you're now listed on the front page ♥️

Plot twist: it’s a talk on EmberJS
September 1, 2025 at 6:10 AM
So many exciting things have landed in @warp-drive.io over the past 6mo - including React support 🙈

But without release notes who could tell 🤣

Well fun news -

The docs are now live at warp-drive.io

The repo has moved (👋 emberjs/data hello github.com/warp-drive-d...)

Release notes are coming.

Of course it is designed to use it from your UI library/design system, as I do use it myself. Here is the pretty version of using the form in #emberjs

(All I wanted was the rules thingy)

Demo: hokulea.netlify.app?path=/story/...
August 26, 2025 at 3:26 PM
I also made an integration for #emberjs:
🪘@hokulea/ember-pahu

To be truly headless no components were harmed; it comes with pure helpers and modifiers.

Attach it to your form elements

Are these ... React docs? On an EmberJS project website?! For making react actually reactive?!!?!

Both actually!

So the most common generators around EmberJS apps are via ember-concurrency, which sidesteps this by having you author as async/await to keep TS happy and transpiling that into generator functions for runtime. Many ember apps this is >50% of product code.

#emberjs loves Vite
August 14, 2025 at 8:45 PM
I already loved the ergonomics and simpler mental model of how EmberJS inverted the language divide for components compared to vue/svelte etc (html region within a JS file vs JS region in an html file), but writing tests that need to use templates really hits home how great it is.

The CFP is now closed, time to read everyone’s proposal! huge thanks to everyone who submitted. We’re reading through your talks and already feeling excited about what’s coming. Until then: thank you.
